Children's Planned Activities
Christian Soldiers is for all 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. We explore and study different scriptures, stories, and people of the Bible. We find fun ways to incorporate games, crafts, cooking, and more with our lessons. It is a fun, hands on, and active way to learn more about God, as well as build strong relationships with other youth their age. Christian Soldiers meets one time a month on the 2nd Sunday, with the exception of holidays that fall on this date, in which we reschedule to another time. Where: Classroom 4.
July 9 we will have a Christian Soldier camp out retreat! All 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders welcome. Weather permitting, this will be held at Mike and Janet Block's home, beginning at 6:00p.m.
August 11we will be serving a meal for our Water's Edge Ministry in Buckeye Lake. We will not have our regular August meeting as there is a children's fun day planned for all ages on Sunday, August 15. See the Happening's section to your left.
We will take the summer months off for kid's choir and begin again this Fall!!
Each quarter the children in Kid’s Church use the offering brought in for a mission project. Throughout the Summer quarter, the children have decided to once again collect school supplies for children in our community who might not be able to afford to purchase their own supplies. Each Sunday, the children can bring in school supplies or money for their offering. Any money collected during Kid’s Church will be used to purchase supplies. If you would like to help with this project, there will be a box in the lobby where you can place school supplies. Any monetary donations toward this mission project can be given to Bev Koch. We appreciate your support and cooperation in helping the children of Kid’s Church others in our community.
Sunday, August 15
4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.
We will be holding a "Back to School Bash" for the children of our church and for the community, on Sunday, August 15. This will be a time of games, fun, food, and fellowship. Mark your calendars now and plan on joining us.
Kroger Plus Card members need to sign-up and register their Kroger Plus Card under the NEW ORGANIZATION NUMBER 81758 for the Children’s Minstry. Anyone who is already a part of the Kroger Cares Fundraiser can register online Kroger.
