Operation Blessing Info
The Etna UMC Missions Committee strives to embody our church’s core purpose of ministry; Reach - Connect - Serve. We believe that God’s desire is for us to witness to the world. Acts 1:8 says, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” The Missions Committee spearheads this directive by offering ways for our church body to serve locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. We support numerous Christian missionaries around the world with our finances and prayers. We offer numerous opportunities for people to actively participate in work projects and outreaches in our community and state. Our work teams experience fellowship with each other and those we serve as we strive to develop ongoing relationships and trust. This is how we live out God’s love in our lives.
